Vice President of Finance

A highly innovative, multi-business medical device company is hiring for a Vice President of Finance. This role is a crucial position that works strategies with business unit leaders and corporate management to support the operational and financial needs of the business on a worldwide basis.

Responsibilities include:
'Oversee the maintenance of the financial records of the Company, including accurate implementation and compliance with GAAP accounting requirements. Oversee the management of the global close process and ensures timely month and quarter end closes followed closely with informative financial and managerial reports.
'Oversee the financial planning and analysis function which includes the annual budget and planning process. Oversee the development and management of the company-wide management review process of operational and financial results. Oversees the development and implementation of timely financial management reports, spending trends, historical data, and year-to-year comparisons.
'Serve as a strategic partner and subject matter expert to the business units and all levels of executive management.
'Manages the SEC reporting function, the financial planning and analysis function, and the corporate accounting function.
'Establish product cost standards in conjunction with manufacturing management and continually monitors and interface with manufacturing on global product costs.
