We are seeking a talented financial services industry professional with a minimum of five years of personal hands on sales experience for the position of Vice President, Financial Services. This individual will work under the direction of the Vice President of Sales. The candidate must have experience selling directly to investment professionals in the financial services marketplace and to high net worth individuals. Finally, the candidate will have demonstrated strong relationship enhancement capabilities and a clear track record of sales results.

Responsibilities:This individual will be responsible for gathering assets from investment firms and high net worth individuals.
The candidate will build professional relationships with financial advisors who are on our approved platform and prospect for new advisors to sell our investment services.
Achieve established sales goals based on fee generation goals.
Able to develop and communicate comprehensive wealth accumulation plans to high net worth clients.
Provide support to client service team and other departments of the firm to foster a successful team environment.
Provide weekly follow up to the Vice President of Sales for sales pipeline activity.
Execute service standards for the financial advisors which include quarterly and annual portfolio reviews.
Represent the firm and speak at designated conferences to maintain existing clients and to attract prospective clients.
Must be highly motivated with a proactive mindset.
Represent the firm in appropriate/authorized professional and community organizations.
Compensation commensurate with experience and sales production level.
REQUIREMENTS
Vice President, Financial Services Requirements
Candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:Bachelors Degree in finance or accounting.
Five years of personal hands on Sales experience in the financial services marketplace.
Previous outside wholesaler experience a plus.
NASD Series 7, and 66 securities licenses.
Completion of, or working toward, CFP designation.
Strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly, effectively and concisely.
Exceptional relationship management skills. Must be able to work effectively with senior management, investment professionals and a wide array of clients.
Working knowledge of SEC and NASD regulatory compliance requirements.
Effective verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and time-management techniques.
Candidates possessing any of the following preferred skills would be a plus:Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional designation (ChFc, CLU etc.).
Additional securities principal licenses (Series 24, 26, 27, 51, 53 etc.).
A professional network in the Chicago area.
