Variable Annuities Operations Manager

OMFN is seeking a Manager, Variable Annuities Operations to be responsible for the analysis of OMFN operations metrics, reporting and the communication of Operations initiatives to the field. Additionally, the position will be responsible for the Variable Annuity Service Center day-to-day management of the OMFN outsourcing relationship with McCamish Systems. This position coordinates with the management of third party administrators (TPA) on the Variable Annuity side of the house as it relates to new and inforce business to ensure all functions are conducted within the established timeframe and quality measures. This individual will then analyze report and discuss the results with key agency groups to identify methods to improve overall performance. This individual will also act as a key point of contact for the Variable Annuity Sales and Marketing team, clients and field force for problem resolution. This position is also responsible for producing Monthly Management Reports and other periodic reports as designated by management.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires:•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or marketing
•Insurance/ Variable Annuity industry knowledge as well as a Series 6 license
•Six (6) years overall business experience including minimum of 3 years ‘hands on’ experience of directly managing New Business and In-force business functions in a high volume variable annuity company which is image and workflow enabled
•Experience in managing the development and implementation of new customer service delivery systems (call centers, internet sites, etc.) along with product development implementation
•Proven experience in successfully managing suppliers of related outsourced services
•Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced production environment, effectively handle multiple assignments and produce results while requiring minimal supervision.The Manager, Variable Annuities Operations will need to possess excellent management and leadership abilities with strong written and oral communication skills, including experience in the preparation and presentation of formal reports to executive management. Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is beneficial.
