Position Title: VP Large Account Casualty Northeast Region

Travel Percentage: 26-50%

Job Summary:
Provides leadership and management for national casualty account units in the Northeast Region. Manages the selection/denial of new and/or renewal business. Underwrites and analyzes new and renewal business. Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manual rules. Recommends and implements actions plans after reviewing agency books of business and profit/growth results and trends. Markets companies' products and services through an agency plant or trough the brokerage community. Develops/maintains agency and/or broker relationships. Assures development and implementation of policy, procedures and standards to produce profitable underwriting results. Reports to the Executive Vice President Casualty.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent

9 or more years of related experience.

1. Advanced and in-depth knowledge of products and line/s of business.
2. Excellent managerial, team building, and organizational skills.
3. Two to three years of management experience.
4. New England customer/broker contacts and relationships would be favorable.
