VP Finance /Controller Roles & Responsibilities Position Overview: VP/Controller position is an integral member of the management committee and requires a close working relationship with the COO and the CEO. The VP/Controller will require strong organizational skills and proven management experience. Effective communication skills will be essential in working with all Department Heads, as well as external professional relationships. Candidate should have the potential to grow within the Company to a CFO position. Reports to: Executive Vice President & Chief Operation Officer Major Accountabilities: Financial & Operations Principal NASD Series 27 Oversee, Manage & Train Finance Department Personnel Prepare & Analyze Monthly External & Internal Financial Statements Prepare & File Monthly Financial Reports with Supporting Journal Entries Prepare Board of Directors Package Prepare Monthly Statistical Information NASD Filings & Correspondence FOCUS, Assessment Reports Prepare Monthly Rolling Forecast Prepare annually & Update Corporate 3 year Forecasts Cash Management Requirements Monitor & Sign Checks & Wires Prepare & Monitor Federal & State Tax Return Requirements 401(k) Plan Administrator & Related Functions Oversee Annual External Audit Prepare Annual Reports for PSEC, PFC & Footnotes Perform Anti-Money Laundering Audit annually Monitor Bank Line of Credit Funding Covenants & Filings Internal Controls & Corporate Accounting Policies Maintain Navision Accounting Software & Updates Update Product Profitability Analysis Qualification Standards: A.Skills Required CPA (desirable) NASD Series 27 B.Work Experience Minimum of 5-10 years C.Education BA Accounting Advanced Degree, desirable LA19864
