Position
We offer a different approach to delivering unclaimed property projects that other firms do not. We apply business consulting techniques to matters of unclaimed property rather than the traditional audit approach. The result – our clients learn to mitigate the process breakdowns that give rise to unclaimed property, placing them in a better position to maintain compliance. Additionally, our innovative pricing and engagement focus emphasizes ROI for our clients, thereby making it easier for them to make the necessary investments to address these issues.

We are looking for the right individual capable of managing a team of professional staff within the Chicago office of MarketSphere’s National Profit Recovery practice. Ideally, this candidate will have between 3-6 years of experience in management consulting with a big firm (i.e., Big 4 or equivalent) and have specific experience with unclaimed property / escheatment projects. We would be willing to accept candidates with significantly more experience than this if the skills are applicable for this practice. While some travel (up to 50 percent or more initially) will be required for this position, our long-term goal is to keep travel below 50 percent by selling/delivering projects in the Chicago market.

Education Requirements
Undergraduate degree required
Preferably a degree in accounting or accounting-related field
CPA & MBA not required, but highly regarded•Demonstrate a commitment to acquiring new capabilities
