Trust Advisor III - Shreveport
The Trust Advisor is responsible for administering a book of Trust Business; selling and cross-selling trust services; development and retention of fiduciary and investment account relationships within a designated market segment. Communicates frequently with clients to understand their needs and utilize that information to provide superior customer service. Handles a revenue-producing book of business of accounts typically highly complex. Serves as primary resource for trust/estate planning communication to assigned client base - conducts administrative reviews to insure accounts are in compliance. Expands existing client relationships by seeking additions to accounts, upgrading them and adding new services. May provide guidance to more junior administrators. Important pipeline for PCS referrals.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - Strong internal and external customer focus, strong written, listening and decision making skills.
SALES/SALES SUPPORT - Proven sales success, prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation skills, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals.
PRODUCT & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE - Comprehensive knowledge of estate settlement, gifting, philanthropic, income, estate and generation skipping taxation and Trusts (revocable and irrevocable). Knowledge of banking products, investment basics and Financial Planning and Insurance Services.
CUSTOMER SERVICE/ACCOUNT ADMIN - Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve problems. Knowledge of legal interpretation of documents, distributions, taxation, account maintenance procedures, compliance issues, and management of overdrafts. REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of fiduciary products and fundamental investment concepts such as asset allocation, diversification, multiple style management, and open architecture. Moderate level of computer ability. Knowledge of SEI Trust 3000, CKC, and SEI Invest 3000. Typically has 10 plus years fiduciary and investment experience with high net-worth clients. Must be a team player and work in a team environment.
