Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice offers companies professional transaction experience. We help clients determine the right deal to do, and then assist them in doing the deal right. Within TAS, Transaction Support services encompass the strategic development and execution of an appropriate transaction structure, including the execution of financial due diligence. Our team works to understand profit drivers and trends, challenge assumptions of future performance, and assist with purchase agreements and post-closing transaction matters.We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Transactions Integration team, which provides clients with post-deal integration assistance to control risk and serve their transactions.Responsibilities
Lead client engagement teams executing Transactions Integration services which support key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions. Be responsible for assessing the client's state of readiness with respect to people, resources, planning, data collection and strategy, while identifying high-risk areas, unidentified issues and areas for overall improvement. Assist with the execution of the integration plan while working to constantly identify areas for improvement including resolving integration issues.Be responsible for creating work products that document the engagement procedures performed against objectives. Maintain relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in computer science, accounting, finance, engineering, business, or a related field; master's degree a plus the ability to travel approximately 80% 10+ years of applicable industry and or consulting experience; a background in accounting and auditing a plus experience in re-engineering, turnarounds or business integrations, with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis experience leading and managing in complex business environments the ability to make detailed assessments of technology, operations or manufacturing infrastructure the ability to determine risks and opportunity areas the ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration conflicts the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills strong written and verbal communication skills a dedication to teamwork
