Trade Settlement Specialist

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $90000 per year Our client seeks a Settlement Manager. The duties of this person will be to, oversee daily functions of Settlement Department, including funds transfer processing, exception handling, Accounts Receivable management/reporting, merchant adjustment posting, and third party bill processing. Ensure Settlement Department needs and requirements are properly represented on Company projects and initiatives. Function as a liaison between Settlement, General Accounting and Finance. Facilitate Audit requests relating to Settlement. Oversee Chargeback / Due to Merchant account balancing. Oversee interface of Settlement and Chargeback systems with Oracle Financials sub-ledger, and ensure proper balancing and monitoring tools. Support Settlement, Merchant Sub-ledger, Billing and Accounts Receivable related concerns for the month-end close, working with General Accounting. Desired candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field with 5+ years of experience. MBA preferred. Big bank settlement experience is needed. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and other Microsoft applications are desired. Experience with Oracle Financials General Ledger is beneficial. Problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Prior settlement/treasury experience is required. CPA highly preferred, but not required.
