Testing Analyst Senior

Basic Function:
This position is responsible for performing research on internal requests for basic or routine HMO processing changes to the claims adjudication system, membership system, financial system and HMO processing systems; verifying accuracy of the system test results with appropriate user departments; documenting system modifications and enhancements; and conducting departmental training related to system changes. Perform basic system analysis to determine/define requirements for routine system changes and enhancements. Respond to routine problems and inquiries from all areas as requested. Communicate to management approval of testing results as it relates to system changes moving to production. Develop and publish information regarding routine or minor system changes. Assist areas in identifying where adjustments to procedures and/or related systems are needed. Assure adequate preparation of affected areas before changes are placed into production. Ensure accurate system processing of all types of contracts. Review distribution material to determine if system changes or processing guidelines are needed. Provide departmental staff with training and guidance related to system changes; supplement training with appropriate claims system processing information and/or materials. Communicate change information to appropriate areas outside the department. Assess impact of requested System Change Requests on other Company areas prior to releasing the changes to production. Review National Management Information System (NMIS) errors as requested thought to be caused by system problems or limitations before such errors are reported to BCA. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity and Compliance Program policies. Maintain complete confidentiality of company related business. Maintain effective communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
1) One years of system testing experience with a Bachelor Degree OR Two years of system testing experience with a Technical Certificate or college courses OR Three years of system testing and basic knowledge of general system capabilities; 2) Knowledge of 3 or more forms of system testing. 3) Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical staff and users. 4) Ability to work independently. 5) Detail orientated. 6) Good initiative and organization skills. 7) Demonstrated experience utilizing analytical skills and problem solving abilities. 8) Demonstrated leadership experience.
