Telecommunications SME, Defense Sector

We are currently searching for a Telecommunications SME to support the telecom needs of the client's infrastructure, which consists of approx. 2,000 deployed workstations at approx. 1,400 locations throughout the world. This position is located in Arlington, VA.Position Requirements:
Â
4+ years of experience working with communications networks; troubleshooting telecommunications issues and developing and recommending solutions
Â
Experience working with firewalls and other network security features
Â
Experience assessing hardware needs of an infrastructure and making grounded decisions on new equipment
Â
Undergraduate degree
Â
U.S. citizenshipPreferred Qualifications:
Â
Experience with Crystal Reports is highly desirable
Â
Knowledge of DoD system security requirements in highly desirable
Â
Understanding of telecommunications protocols and the features and limitations of each
Â
Ability to understand and use tools to manage the client's infrastructure
Â
Ability to learn and understand the functions and features of the client's infrastructure
Â
Ability to learn and understand smart cards and public key infrastructure technology
