DuPont Capital Management is seeking a Technology Support Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of their asset management business. This is an opportunity for a creative, flexible, self-starter to join a team-oriented organization responding to and resolving desktop technology support requests and projects. Other responsibilities include
supporting state-of-the art audio/visual teleconferencing architecture
building desktop/laptop images
tracking calls in database
assisting with technical specs and price quotes for new hard/software purchases
developing/maintaining documentation for product installations
keeping current on new product technology/methods.
A successful candidate would posess the following skills:
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Active Directory
Web publishing/design experience.
Previous experience or knowledge of financial market data systems.
Dial-up networking/remote computing
Previous experience with installing and troubleshooting BlackBerry devices.
Knowledge/experience with UNIX system administration
Experience with Symantec Ghost.
Knowledge/experience with Veritas NetBackup.
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Previous desktop technology support experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting Windows XP Professional in a Windows 2000/2003 server environment,
Microsoft Office 2000/2003, Excel macros and add-ins, MS Internet explorer, Norton Anti-Virus, Lotus Notes
Demonstrated understanding of basic networking concepts
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated strong customer focus skills.
Demonstrated ability to focus on attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be positive.Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible, team environment.
