Technical Analyst

By combining your talent and our strengths, we can acheive great results.The Technical Specification team will act as the main translation interface between the global sponsorship and governance within the Investment Banking division. It is the role of the technical analyst to create functional specifications and use cases by leveraging business requirements, wire frame designs and prototypes, as well as interactions with development project leads, programmers, business analysts, and interface design specialists. Once functional specifications and use cases are created for a project, it is the role of the technical analyst to continue to maintain these documents as wire frames, prototypes, and business requirements evolve throughout the project life cycle. The technical analyst is a member of a Technical Specification team comprised of a pool of technical analysts, which are allocated across the IBD IT development portfolio on a project by project basis. Once allocated to a particular project, the technical analyst will act as a cohesive member of a development project team reporting into the development project manager for the duration of the project. REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:Required:
Experience translating business requirements, wire frame designs, and prototypes into functional specifications for consumption by development teams to build technology solutions.
Proven track record of translating business requirements into use cases, which can be used to drive wire frame prototype discussions, System Integration test preparation, or User Acceptance Testing.
Knowledge and experience implementing best practices for functional specification and use case creation and maintenance
Experience writing functional specifications and use cases within a financial institution in-house development or business analyst team
Experience with Test Director (requirements and defects modules)
