Technical Accounting Manager

Purpose:
Our client, a global telecommunications firm, is searching for a Technical Accounting Manager.

Main responsibilities as follows:
-Prepare and review all financial statements, supporting documents, and filings such as Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, internal financial statements, and regulatory financial statements.
-Assist in advising senior executives and business owners regarding new regulatory rulemaking and the financial reporting processes and researching technical accounting issues on an as needed basis.
-Coordination of efforts with internal and external groups to facilitate and gather information for use in filings.
-Participate in due diligence with regard to mergers and acquisitions.
-Support financial system integration efforts, including process improvement and internal control development.

Ideal candidate must have following qualifications:
-College degree, CPA required
-3-6 years minimum experience including public accounting firm experience serving public companies
-Familiarity with SEC rules and regulations
-Management experience
