Tax Staff (corporate)

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $40000 to $55000 per year My client, a growing and stable manufacturer in the Camp Hill area is looking for a State Tax Analyst to join their dynamic team. The position will reprot directly to the Director of Domestic Tax,and is highly visible for promotion! The position will be responsible for the following:
•Help prepare the State tax provision calculation including all work papers and schedules necessary to support the financial statements and footnotes. Assist in computing state effective tax rate.•Assist in state tax planning and restructuring.
•Prepare state tax returns, estimates and extensions.
•Responsible for corporate office state account reconciliations•Research state tax issues at a moderate level of complexity.
•Assist with state income tax audits.
•Assist in sales tax audits.•Responsible for state tax notices for franchise/ annual reports/ business licenses.
•Monitor state legislation, court cases, etc.•Assist in federal and state insurance premium tax returns.•Assist in federal tax returns and tax provision.•Assist in SOX 404 documentation for state tax purposes.•Responsible for preparation of state income tax apportionment.
