Job Description:
A company's ""people investment"" is one of its most significant investments andE &Y's Human Capital practice focuses on helping clients better manage the cost and risk of their HR plans, programs and systems. Global Mobility professionals focus on helping clients with their international assignment programs. Services range from delivering expatriate tax returns, to assessing a client's vendor, to completely outsourcing its assignment administration. We also advise on the tax and HR implications of certain transactions involving global executives and HR policies.We currently have a career opportunity for a Tax Senior. Using cutting-edge technology and working with team-oriented colleagues, the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for securing and analyzing client tax data used in the preparation of tax compliance products.Responsibilities
Analyze data and prepare workpapers based on professional standards. Process data and convert it to a compliance product.Determine the accuracy and completeness of the compliance product and perform quality assurance procedures. Prepare the product for delivery. File the compliance product electronically. Perform other related duties, as required.Establish/maintain long-term working relationships with clients. Share knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery. Identify opportunities for business development as appropriate.Facilitate communication and provide ample assistance to team members. Participate in recruiting efforts when necessary. Leverage technology to continually maximize productivity. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in a related field; or an associate's degree in a related field and preferably 1-2 years of tax or related experience a minimum of 2 years of tax experience general knowledge or coursework in tax laws excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability strong written and verbal communication skills a commitment to learning and a tax technology environment PC proficiency, including MS Office
