The PricewaterhouseCoopers Philadelphia office is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Associate to join their Financial Services, Real Estate practice. This position involves assisting in advising real estate clients on the U.S. tax implications of their domestic operations, to obtain an optimal tax minimization strategy, as well as provide tax compliance and consulting services. Private equity companies and various corporate partnership clients within the Investment Management industry may be part of the client base. You will have an opportunity to network with existing and prospective clients, to assume a high degree of responsibility as well as the opportunity to concentrate your efforts on the real estate industry including partnership and corporate tax consulting, compliance, tax provision reviews and tax planning issues. Successful candidates will be able to work towards developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelors Degree and CPA license or candidate, Masters of Taxation preferred.Essential Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical tax background as a result of 3 to 4 years of general tax consulting and compliance and 1-2 years of real estate specific tax consulting and compliance. Experience in partnership and corporate tax research, consulting and compliance in a professional services firm or industry leader is essential, experience is real estate is preferred. Candidate must be highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth and development. Candidate must demonstrate the ability and to assist in identifying tax consulting opportunities and a willingness to assist in marketing those services to existing and prospective clients. Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills and strong written and oral communication skills are necessary. Individuals should also possess the ability to assist in developing and managing a team of tax professionals.
