Our Southeast Region Tax Business Development team plays an integral market-facing role to further position PwC's as a market leader in the Tax arena. Reporting directly to the Philadelphia Tax Partner in Charge (PIC) and indirectly to the Philadelphia Business Development Partner (BDP), this role will have responsibility for the following:
Oversee the driving of Tax solutions into engagement teams and the Business Development Network Act as a catalyst for Tax national business development initiatives with the goal of increasing market share Facilitate and coach our Tax engagement teams' pursuit of large opportunities - includes prepping teams for orals, following PwC standard sales methodology, etc. Provide strategic business support on non-audit accounts and ongoing strategic client service planning Interface with Business Development Executives to leverage business development resources and encourage Tax focus Maintain a strong "on the ground" feel in the Philadelphia market, assist Tax PIC with market assessment and special projects, champion a relationship culture in the market Support our Tax specialty practices (Washington National Tax Services, International Assignment Solutions, Global Human Resource Solutions) Provide input to the Tax PIC on client and target assignments REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree required, related advanced degree and credential preferredEssential Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have: 3+ years of Marketing and/orTax related experience Proven marketing skills, experience and instincts Maturity and stature to meaningfully interact with lead Tax Partners, complex clients and the business development organization Energy to effectively manage many constituencies at one time and keep the business development process moving forward Excellent people, communication and project management skills Local presence in the Philadelphia market
