Tax Manager, Real Estate

We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our Real Estate practice in our Atlanta office.
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on partnership, corporate, multi-state and international tax issues

Advise clients on inbound tax real estate investments and transactions

Review complex corporate, consolidated, partnership and multi-state tax returns

Provide FAS 109 accounting for the income tax of Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and non-SEC clients

Understand and analyze the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) rules affecting the taxpayer

Manage cross-functional teams in the delivery of services

Work in, and be part of, a multi-disciplinary team

Keep up-to-date on current tax practices

Provide industry knowledge

Develop, train and mentor staff and seniorsQualifications:
Five or more years of Federal tax experience with strong skills in Real Estate taxation and reviewing 1065 partnership, 1120 corporate consolidated and international tax returns

Excellent research and writing skills

Ability to provide tax planning and present options in a broad based forum

Knowledge of Real Estate tax matters

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university
