Tax Manager - Public Accounting

Full-service public accounting firm seeks an experienced Tax Manager for their Houston area office. Successful candidate will have extensive experience of complex tax issues and the ability to maintain and develop client relationships with existing and new customers. Position reports directly to the managing partner. Competitive salary and benefits package.

--Prepare and review tax returns, plan and research tax issues
--Assist the development and supervision of tax staff
--Manage multiple projects, develop client relationships

--Degree in accounting or related field, CPA certificate required
--5+ years of tax experience in a CPA firm
--Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook programs
--Superb written and verbal communication abilities, well organized with proven people skills
--Excellent business development and client service skills
