Our Performance & Reward transaction advisory service practice has been increasingly involved in supporting clients through complex global acquisitions. Typical assignments involve 10 to 40 plus country deals which require a comprehensive approach to HR matters from due diligence, deal negotiations, vendor selection, outsourcing, day one readiness and post merger integration. We serve clients both on the buy side and the sell side of the transaction. Responsibilities Conduct on-site data room review of acquisition targets’ HR policies, plans and programs. Serve as a Global Human Resource project manager, facilitating numerous HR sub-teams across several countries. Prepare and deliver comprehensive due diligence analysis reports which quantify risks/liabilities and provide technical guidance. Execute post-merger integration plans, including transition strategies. Design and conduct global M&A training seminars for clients’ cross-functional M&A teams. Represent clients in financial due diligence-typically performed for a core US-based team. Participate as a member of a global coordination team, as the deal matures through contract negotiation and day-one readiness. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related discipline with demonstrated, exceptional academic achievement 5-8 years of transaction experience related to human resource integration large-scale, global human capital merger integration experience, preferably with multiple countries and multiple HR teams multinational experience in assimilating workforces, benefits, compensation programs, and retirement plans; experience in global pension plan design, assimilation, and regulatory requirements multinational experience in executive compensation design, including equity and program assimilation, and retention/assessment programs multinational experience in human resource service delivery assimilation, including design, outsourcing, and restructuring as well as global vendor selection, consolidation, and pooling multinational experience in employee communications, culture assessment and assimilation multinational experience in facilitating works counsel, union, and employee representation matters consulting experience with established methodology, tools, procedures and protocols knowledge preferred The successful candidate must also be open to extended deployment and willing to travel.
