Within Ernst & Young's International Tax Services (ITS) group, our global Transfer Pricing practice is recognized as a leading innovator in addressing inter-company transaction issues and in the valuation of intangible assets. We offer depth of experience through a worldwide network of dedicated transfer pricing economists and tax professionals. Providing a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing, our people prepare documentation, defend transfer pricing in audits, and develop tax planning approaches.We are currently seeking a Manager to participate in and supervise multiple and challenging transfer pricing engagements and to contribute to the delivery of quality tax planning services for our diverse clients.Responsibilities
Demonstrate an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and effectively apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations. Develop and deliver quality transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services/work products.Identify transfer pricing opportunities. Prepare documentation, participate in advanced pricing agreements (APAs), defend transfer pricing in audits, work in the valuation of intangible assets, and develop quality, practical planning services. Manage the work of client service team members. Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals.Thoroughly and accurately analyze information. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's economic situation and arrive at logical conclusions. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree, preferably with an advanced degree in economics, law, tax, or accounting a minimum of 5 years of transfer pricing or similar experience broad exposure to transfer pricing issues preferred excellent managerial, organizational, project management, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional services environment
