These positions will be based in one of the following major cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, New York, or Washington DC/Philly. (you can pick!).  We may consider applicants from other cities as well.
Travel required: 60-75%
 
Consulting Services group - Manager and Senior Manager levels
CORPTAX'S Consulting Services practice offers a full solution of tax based products and services to enhance a corporate tax department's ability to deliver value-added contributions to their organizations. The scope of services will encompass Tax Process Automation, Software Implementation, and Financial Systems Integration across all areas of taxation including US and International Corporate Income Tax, Sales and Use Taxes, VAT, Property Taxes, and Fixed Asset Depreciation.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee will manage a team of client services representatives implementing new tax software products, or optimization of existing products.
The employee should be able to demonstrate understanding of client's business, identify tax system and process improvement opportunities, offer creative solutions, and deliver within budget and on time. This would involve the service team building client relationships, identifying the need for software and/or services, setting expectations as to requirements and related fees, successfully marketing to client, and coordinating efforts, when appropriate, with CORPTAX sales personnel.
 
 Technical and Professional Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the CORPTAX approach, methodology & tools
Establish consultative working relationships with client personnel
Keep clients informed of the tax and tax software developments that affect their business
Help clients interpret and integrate tax considerations into their business strategyEducation:
Degree in Accounting required, CPA and MST preferred
 
Experience:
 
Ideal candidate will have experience in corporate tax
compliance, public accounting experience, as well as exposure to tax software
 
Other:
Independent, self-directed personality
Interest in and aptitude for software/hardware/networking technology
Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Must be service oriented, with excellent follow through skills
A team player, with insight as to client's needs and practical solutions
