The Experienced Associate will be accountable for researching tax issues, writing memos and performing numerical analysis to support the research and business recommendations to the client. The technical tax issues they will address include: subchapter C, K and S, consolidated returns, international and individuals. In addition, they will supervise and manage compliance projects, including tax returns, tax provisions and year-end planning projects. They will be expected to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
BS, CPA and Masters in Taxation preferredEssential Requirements:
A strong technical tax background as a result of at least 1-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Big 5 environment. You should demonstrate the ability to identify tax consulting opportunities and be willing to aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients. Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
