Tax Department Supervisors/Managers

Supervisors must have had a minimum of three years' experience as senior accountants prior to becoming supervisors. Managers must have had a minimum of two years' experience as supervisors and have exhibited technical proficiency and the ability to supervise complete engagements. Managers will supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff, evaluate their progress and provide feedback. Managers and Supervisors must be available at certain times for emergency projects that require extra hours. Both will become experts in their assigned areas. You must develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm, while recognizing opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients. From time to time you will be required to assist in firm administrative functions as assigned by the partners and you must perform other assigned administrative duties. You are expected to be an asset to the firm through civic and community activities through leadership roles.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position you must be a CPA with 7 or more years of recent tax experience in public accounting, preferably with a large local, regional or national public accounting firm. You must have tax experience with corporate and partnership returns. Estate/trust taxation experience is also required. You must be able to work efficiently and supervise others will assisting partners with management of client work.
