Job Description
As a Tax Auditor with the Franchise Tax Board, you can expect to develop strong audit and analytical skills while working on state and international tax audits of individual, partnership, and corporate taxpayers. Tax Auditors analyze books, records and business transactions of individuals and business entities to ensure they are in compliance with tax laws. The Audit Division of the Franchise Tax Board will offer you a professional and dynamic career in taxation, along with all the benefits of working for the State of California.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Job Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must possess either:
A college degree, with a specialization in accounting, OR
Completed 19 semester units; 16 semester units of accounting and 3 semester units of business law (accounting classes must include courses in elementary accounting, advanced accounting, auditing and cost accounting)How to Apply
