Tax Accounting Mgr III

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that all electronic security equipment is properly installed and operating properly.
Conducts periodic site inspections to ensure campus site protection.
Oversees investigations concerning compromises to existing security systems.
Oversees and provides assistance with the installation, billing, and operation of all employee, customer and visitor access control systems, guard stations and closed circuit television. This includes photographing employees and data entry for accurate access into bank's facilities.
Oversees and provides assistance in the monitoring, proper operation and testing of a fire emergency/evacuation system procedure.
Provide assistance in the interview and hiring process for Physical Security Specialist.
Provide training to the Physical Security Specialist regarding the use and operation of the proprietary access control CCTV security system.
Manage and supervise all physical Security Specialists to include monitoring performance, coaching, review, scheduling and other administrative responsibilities as needed to ensure the proper protection of personnel and asset in the Laurel campus.
Provide physical security assistance to the branch network by providing Physical Security Specialist, Contracted Security Officer or contracted Police Officer as needed.
Manage the Security Operations budget for the Laurel Campus.
Perform other duties as required by the Physical Security Services Manager.REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 5 years law enforcement background or security related equivalent.
Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local law enforcement policies and procedures.
3 years supervisory experience in law enforcement or security related equivalent.
Knowledge of multi-line telephone equipment.
Knowledge of and ability to utilize computer office products, word processing, spread sheets, and databases.
Knowledge of or experience in a police communications division.
Ability to develop, implement and oversee the operation and site monitoring of all security devices.
Ability to manage, supervise, and ensure the security guard force (whether proprietary or contracted) is sufficiently staffed, trained and equipped to properly utilize and maintain all security systems.
Ability to develop good working relationships with all levels of management.
Requires a working and practical knowledge of restrictive access systems, closed circuit television equipment and alarm systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and written skills.
Knowledge of computers and software programs, specifically, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
Ability to make decisions, while under stress, which provides for the safety and security of the Chevy Chase Bank employees, visitors, and assets.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Formal law enforcement training preferred.
Advanced training or schools, in security access systems preferred.
Formal training in police communications and report writing.
Formal training or schools in management and supervision.
