Support Specialist/Collections

Responsibilities: This person will be working with Director of Revenue, Department Manager and Relationship Managers, to analyze and compile complex to highly complex operational and financial data for Internal & External performance/financial review. This person will be working to provide information that allows management to make informed decisions in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures. This person creates and distributes periodic, standard and ad-hoc operational performance reports for CNS management using Access, Crystal Reports and/or Excel; significant data mining from multiple production and financial systems using SQL, TOAD and/or Access; and compares operational bill review performance data with financial data, identifies issues, researches root causes and recommends solutions. This person provides research support for specific projects and programs; defines data requirements and gathers and validates information applying judgment and statistical tests; and specifies manipulative or computational methods to be applied to model. This person performs validation and testing of model to ensure adequacy, or determines need for reformulation; prepares reports to management defining problem, evaluation, and possible solution; and may design, conduct, and evaluate experimental operational models where insufficient data exists to formulate model. This person collaborates with Operations and/or IT departments to develop or implement financial and/or operational reporting systems, and leads with database design; identifies and implements solutions for establishing controls or remediating identified weaknesses in existing controls for internal and external financial reporting.
