Supply Chain Manager

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $75,000 to $95,000 per year Our client, a publicly held high tech manufacturer, has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Manager.
Summary:

Individual contributor within Operations.
Objective for Commodity Manager is successful development and execution commodity strategy for semiconductor and optical transceivers. Role is one of a proactive team leader who promotes cross functional support with business units and functional areas such as Engineering and Quality Assurance while driving cost productivity across the corporation.

Performs the functions of international market analysis, internal Sycamore demand analysis, global demand analysis, supplier selection, negotiation of price, terms and conditions to maximize contribution to operating profit and business objectives.

Completes supplier analysis in order to acquire the best suppliers and to guarantee an optimum supply chain; assists in the coordination of suppler evaluation process and executes formal supplier development plans.

Maintains regular contact with internal / external interface partners to develop a technology road map for commodities with goal or exerting influence on supplier partners.
