Supply Chain Analyst

Volt is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst that also has has Accounting and/or Finance experience from a large manufacturing or Aerospace company. The position objectives are: Track material cost, Communicating, Supply interaction, and BOM Supply chain. In addition to supply chain work, accounting and finance knowledge is necessary. There is 10% travel to consider. This person will be highly visible as they will be in charge of all metrics. We are looking for someone beyond a "nine-to-five" mentality and a do whatever it takes to get the job done attitude. This person will be responsible for supporting the division's supply chain group, analysis requirements including; Supplier Scorecard, OTD Graphs, quality metrics, total approved suppliers and other metrics routinely reported. Individual is also expected to do a substantial amount of project analysis work in support of the group including; supplier financial health, program cost, commodity cost, shop loading, potential savings by program or commodity, freight spend, spend analysis, etc. The focus for this position will be to assist the Supply Chain Managers and Procurement Management to optimize the supplier base with a concentration on development global, regional, and local strategies designed to achieve organizational objectives including cost, quality, and delivery.


Requirements:

Skills needed: XL, Power Point, Word, Impressa, ERP, and SAP. Skills that would be a plus: Crystal Reports and JD Edwards.Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain Management.Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a multi-site manufacturing company.Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively interact at various levels within an organization.Knowledge of or experience with lean manufacturing
