Supervisory Accounting BookKeeper

Aviation maintenance service firm opening new office in downtown Pensacola, seeking a Supervisory Accounting Bookkeeper. Excellent pay/benefits offered to the right person.Accounting/Bookkeeper with 4 or more years experience. Must have a high degree of accuracy and be proficient in Quikbooks and Excell. Knowledge of General Ledger, Payroll, HR practices, and excellent Data Entry skills required. Must be highly motivated, intelligent team player desiring opportunity for advancement.Prior supervision of administrative employees is a plus. Prior experience in aviation industry is a plus. Familiarity with U.S. Government procurement procedures is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Duties:
•Reconcile Bank Accounts.
•Prepare checks for signature
•A/R invoicing, posting payments and daily sales analysis as needed.
•A/P match to purchase orders and enter into computer for payment, issue checks for payment of invoices. Update personnel records and record all new hires with employee packages.•Process weekly payroll for 70-140 employees.
•Administer Employee programs including Ceridian 401K and health insurance policies.
•Advise General Manager on issues related to HR, payroll, and finance.
•Assist General Manager with contract/project cost and profitability analysis as required.
•Train and supervise clerical employees as required.
•Some travel to industry conventions and/or national/international customer sites may be occasionally required.
