Supervisor Medical Billing Office (MBO)

We currently have an outstanding opportunity for you as a: Supervisor MBO

This position is responsible for: Direct day-to-day business office work flow and serves as direct Supervisor to MBO personnel. Has direct responsibility for overseeing all claims processing functions for commercial claims, professional and institutional. Will perform audit functions to assure compliance with company policy and procedures and financial controls.

Other Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

Assists the MBO Manager in selecting, training, disciplining, discharging and developing a staff competent to achieve company goals and objectives under supervision of Department Director.

Communicates with providers, patients and health plan personnel when necessary to solve difficult billing issues.

Performs audit of billing functions to ensure timely processing as required by company and governing entity guidelines.

Handles reporting requests for department operations (i.e., ATB Reports, Individual Staff and Department Production Statistics, and special project reports).

Completes or updates new Provider contracts with insurance companies.

Job Requirements
The preferred candidates will have the following experience and education:

An Associates Degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role with Medical Billing related field.

OR A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a leadership role within medical billing related field.
Should be familiar with MS Word and Excel and an Email system. IDX experience is highly desirable.
