Supervisor II - Accounting

This position is a key member of the DSONA finance team. The position is located in Sidney, OH and will be the lead accountant responsible for the DSM (Dressing Sauces & Mayonnaise) business in Sidney reporting to the DSM operations controller.



Principle Accountabilities:15% Assist in creation/implementation of common metrics and processes 20% Accurate and timely completion of month-end close 10% management reporting 15% Business analysis for decision support 10% process improvements 10% Prepare/review budgets 10% Supervise and develop accounting personnel 10% Ad hoc projects



REQUIREMENTS


Required:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5 years accounting experience. Ability to lead and coach staff Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment. Self-motivated individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong computer skills Be able to perform well under pressure, establishing priorities to meet deadlines Desire to increase knowledge and assume additional responsibilities Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls Attention to details


Desired:Experience in JDE/other AS 400 systems Supervisory experience Food business experience Leadership skills Advocate for change and continuous improvement Strong communication skills Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
