Supervisor Fund Accounting

A Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the mutual funds activities including calculation of net asset value (price), distribution factors and assisting in preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings. A Supervisor is also responsible for associate development, defining associate objectives and managing the daily responsibilities of the client relationship.



Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Monitoring procedures and controls within the team.

Providing guidance to associates on a daily basis.

Problem solving for team and resolving issues.

Reviewing and approving team work within departmental/client guidelines.

Ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of work product.

Facilitating audits.

Leading and participating in special projects and client requests.

Interviewing, hiring and providing performance management of team members.

Writing evaluations for team members on an annual or as-needed basis.

Supporting and implementing departmental initiatives.

Participating in development and facilitation of departmental training courses.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum criteria are:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business-related area or equivalent work experience

Recommended minimum of 3 years industry-related experience

Experience working with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word) required
