Strategic Portfolio Analyst - Collection Agency

Third party collection agency seeking a Strategic Portfolio Analyst to assist VP and IT dept. Direct hire, full-time position.
Responsible for a variety of portfolio management duties in accordance to Company and departmental processes and procedures, including but not limited to the following:
•Review and analyze new accounts and place accounts with appropriate collectors
•Recall accounts not performing and recommend strategies to remedy poor performing accounts to management
•Prepare and maintain operations specific reports such as placements, collector liquidation, collections, performance analysis, client ranking report, Collector Summary report
•Provide insight and decision making support
•Conduct ad hoc analyses of inventory analysis, historical liquidation, and current performance trends
•Provide support for collection system process maintenance
•Ensure proper status codes on all returned accounts and correct codes where needed
•Isolate non-collectable accounts from the active work flow
•Work closely with the technical departments to ensure minimal breaks in account placement flows.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum two years experience dealing with Strategies in a high volume third party collection agency required
• Collection industry software experience required
• College Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field OR equivalent work related experience
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Access
• Desire for knowledge and improvement
• Communication skills, Analysis skills, Organized, Project Oriented, Detailed Oriented, Accurate and Strong Work Ethic
• Adaptable to changing environment.
• Multi-tasking.
• Ability to work effectively in high pressure, challenging environment.
• Team player, positive attitude.
• Knowledge of database structures, Crystal Reports desired, but not required.
