Strategic Business Cost Analyst

A St. Louis based multi-national firm has an immediate opportunity for a Cost Analyst to support our company's strategic business initiatives by:

*Analyzing the financial returns of projects
*Analyzing financial and other data related to projects for decision making support
*Preparing Capital Expenditure Requests and expediting their approval
*Tracking project spending and results achieved to assure attainment of project commitments
*Support of related legal, regulatory or other registration or compliance activities
*This position will work with mid and upper level personnel in domestic and foreign locations to acquire data or to support foreign analysis or other foreign project activity.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requires experience in manufacturing accounting (strong in cost analysis), project justification, written analysis, use of one or more major manufacturing ERP systems, data manipulation using Excel and Access, data acquisition through data transfer tools and analysis using SQL-type tools. B.S. is required in Accounting or Business, with five or more years of related experience.

Excellent written and oral communications skills are required. Foreign languages, --German, Czech, Mandarin -- are a plus, but not required.
