Strategic Account Manager
Strategic Account Manager
Strategic Account Managers are the national account business development professionals who manage outstanding customer relationships, embody a senior telecom trusted advisor skills base, build our new and existing revenue base, and distinguish us from all the rest in supporting our customers with stellar telephone advice and service.
Responsibilities:
•Have a strong senior understanding of the Telecom industry and the sales process within it. Develop strong relationships with potential and existing customers, identify and customize solutions to meet customer needs, prepare proposals, and present portfolio of products and services.
•Strong ability to articulate the differentiating factors that make One Communications the best choice for customers.
•Create and close new business opportunities for the company.
•Ability to be a mentor to others and show a Team Lead mentality when asked to articulate concepts or selling process to less seasoned sales representatives.
•Promote the company image and take the necessary steps in order to meet or exceed quotas and goals as set by the corporate office.
•Interface with Account Managers, and other customer service team members to insure our customers have an outstanding service sales experience with CTC Communications.
•Ability to deliver a value proposition of high customer service, team player mentality, and overall positive outlook.
•Travel within the prescribed geographic territory.
Success Factors:
•6 plus years experience in the telecommunications industry selling to medium or large size commercial accounts.
•A proven track record of over quota achievements and strategic business relationships.
•Ability to prospect, cold call and generate new sales opportunities that translate to closed business.
•Knowledge of the local market.
•Solid business communications skills effective to the decision maker level in potential customer organizations.
•Initiates contact with potential customers, develops a selling strategy based on the customers needs.
•Demonstrated technical understanding of the telephony market, self motivated, competitive, energetic and assertive.
