Store Analyst

Summary of Position
Working under the supervision of the Controller, the Store Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the reconciliation, analysis and reporting of daily operational activities. Will also assist others in improving the accuracy and consistent flow of data from operating units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Verify and ensure the quality and accuracy of store-reported transactional data.Analyze store transactional data and work directly with operations to correct errors.Reconcile operational programs against daily store reporting information.Work directly with operating store managers to reconcile transmitted store data.Process and verify daily transmitted information against daily paperwork for individual stores.
Insure proper backup and supporting documentation for all recorded transactional store data.Reconcile data to supporting documentation.Work with operations to improve flow and accuracy of data.Participate in automating manual processes to improve data accuracy.Audit physical inventory and investigate variances with operations managers.Work with operations to improve flow and accuracy of data.Insure proper supporting documentation for all recorded.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:

Associate degree in Accounting is preferred or equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills and must be able to pay strict attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize and to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.Strong desire and ability to work with Field Operations personnel to ensure strict adherence to company accounting policy and procedures.Excellent problem solving skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Must posses a high degree of proficiency with a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets software (Excel and Word).Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff members to accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization.
