Staff & Senior Business Analysts

We seek motivated professionals to work in our client’s business process team. The successful candidate will receive excellent benefits that include 100% paid MBA.

Our client offers an environment that supports rotation into other department every 18-24 months. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a desire to work towards increasing levels of responsibility and challenge. The successful candidates will perform reviews of critical business/accounting processes; evaluate and identify potential process improvement opportunities. This includes preparation and analysis of the corporate and business unit financial process requirements. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a vibrant and growing team, where you can be a change agent by making a meaningful contribution to the continued success of the company and financial/accounting integration of newly acquired businesses.

Responsibilities include:
•Assisting in financial analysis, work with operations executives, and initiate/drive continuous improvement.
•Assist in the streamlining of the month-end closing activities, including appropriate recommendations for corporate and business unit closing schedules.
•Process mapping significant financial, business/operational process and identify potential financial risks; communicate these risks to Management and direct final disposition of related items.
•Foster a relationship between this department and business units.
•Develop common procedures and practices to streamline accounting/finance operations.
•Perform special projects at the request of management.
•Senior candidates will lead projects within the group.

REQUIREMENTS
•Staff position requires: 1+ years of public accounting (Big 4 or Large Regional Firm preferred) or 3+ years of public and private accounting experience. We will also look at 2+ years of progressive private experience.
•Senior position requires: 3+ years of public accounting or 4+ years of public/private mix or 4+ years of progressive private experience.
•Project management experience and leadership qualities.
•Motivated and creative problem solver
•Knowledge of the accounting/ finance process.
•Analytical and problem solving skills.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability to interact with all functions and levels of employees.

Education requirements:
•BA/BS in Accounting or Finance (accounting preferred)
•CPA or MBA preferred
