Staff Auditor

Working with the Risk Practice Partner, the successful candidate will perform audit work for the client during engagements. The individual in this role will ensure quality service to all customers and should be actively aware of client situations that might warrant additional GCRM professional services.

Key responsibilities will include:

Participating with financial and operational auditors on integrated audits of major business processes and application controls, focusing on process improvement and effectiveness
Assisting clients with maintaining information required for compliance with SOX (Sarbanes Oxley)
Preparing audit and investigating finding memoranda and working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists
Facilitating discussions with audit clients on developing action plans to correct issues identified during audit reviews


We're looking for a full time person with a minimum of 3-7 years of internal and/or external audit experience to fill this Staff Auditor role. Relevant skills include workpaper tools, microsoft office and strong analytical skills. The work is in Texas - Houston. A typical work week will involve 40 hours. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree or better in Accounting, Finance or Info Systems.
