REQUIREMENTS
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare monthly financial statements and internal management reports.
Oversee the prompt closing of the general ledger each month and review for accuracy and completeness as well as unusual transactions.
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for major assets and liabilities including payroll.
Handle payroll for mid-size company (60 - 100 employees)Accuracy, completeness and timeliness of paychecks, payroll records and reportsAccurate processing of all payroll using ADP software and EZLabor timekeeping system Assist with sales comp calculations and monthly reporting.
Prepare monthly analysis of significant revenues and expenses.
Prepare weekly cash flow analysis.
Support the financial statement audit.
Monthly bank reconciliations
Support any payroll and 401(k) related auditsOrganize employee/payroll filesExcellent customer servicePerform special projects, other Accounting functions, and prepare ad hoc reporting as neededPerform special projects and prepare ad hoc reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of accounting, financial reporting and payroll processing experience, background in Accounting practices, account reconciliations, report preparationStrong working knowledge of wage and hour rules and regulationsAbility to handle competing demands, organize, prioritize, and solve problemsProficiency with Microsoft products, including Excel and OutlookADP experience a mustStrong written and verbal communication skills; and attention to detailAssociate Degree or equivalent degree with payroll courses
