Job DescriptionThe Staff Accountant is responsible for the accurate, concise and timely maintenance of departmental record keeping, assisting with the maintenance of general office flow in the department. Works in the company’s online expense reporting system (Ceridian) to track travel expenses for over 2000 employees. Provide customer service support to employees and collect data and reports to prepare for month-end close. Provides other administrative support to the department as needed to include work on special projects. Required Skills1. B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance 2. 3-5 years accounting experience preferred. 3. Strong data entry skills with emphasis on numeric data entry. 4. Strong computer and software skills and proficient with accounting software and spreadsheet programs. 5. Ability to use standard office equipment to include adding machines, copiers, fax machines, etc. 6. Excellent interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication skills. 7. Demonstrated knowledge of customer service skills when responding to questions and other inquiries from internal and external customers. 8. Ability to multi-task and work effectively under tight deadlines. 9.
