Staff Accountant for Downtown E & P Firm! Wants to Learn SEC

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $55,000 to $60,000 per year Do you want to work in Downtown Houston as a Senior Staff Accountant? This role will be working for a publicly held Oil and Gas Firm. With this opportunity the candidate must be CPA motivated, have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and have 2 plus years General Ledger Experience. This would be excellent for a candidate that is coming out of Public Accounting. This candidate will work within a team environment and must be able to multi-task. Specifically the candidate will work within the month-end close process, help out with footnoting to SEC filings, and be working on other complex reconciliations as it relates to the organizations financials.
