Job Posting – Staff Accountant

Inktel Direct Corporation, a leading integrated direct marketing services company providing call center, product fulfillment and direct mail services, has an immediate opening for a talented individual to join the accounting and finance team as the company Controller. With offices located in Miami and Chicago, Inktel clients include many of the most well known companies in the travel & tourism, consumer package goods, media and telecommunications industries.

Location: Miami Lakes, Florida

Start Date: Immediate

Job Description: The Staff Accountant’s role and responsibilities will include:
•Managing the accounts payable coding and payment approval process.
•Executing bank reconciliations and general ledger journal entries.
•Participating in the monthly close process.
•Assisting with financial statement, budget and operating performance analysis.
•Supporting the annual external audit process.
•Participating in special projects including senior management reporting, vendor performance and benchmarking.

Requirements & Qualifications:
•An undergraduate accounting major and/or a minimum 3 years of accounting experience with a small to mid-size company.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and a high detail orientation.
•Demonstrated enthusiasm and an inner passion for the role.
•Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
•Experience with any significant business accounting software programs, preferably Macola.

Salary & Benefits: The position of Staff Accountant provides significant opportunity for career growth and is ideal for candidates who aspire to develop into a more senior accounting, controller or CFO role. The compensation package for this position includes a base salary of $40,000-$50,000 plus bonus commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package of medical, dental, short/long term disability, life insurance and 401K plans.
