STAFF ACCOUNTANT – Construction
Responsibilities include general accounting duties detailed below:
Construction:
•Communicate with project manager on construction matters and insure all pertinent approvals are received.
•Set up and maintain job cost system for construction accounting in Yardi.
•Review invoices and input accounts payable through the job cost system.
•Print checks for construction projects.
•Reconcile monthly senior and mezzanine loans with the bank.
•Prepare monthly loan draws and review with project manager, including schedules in compliance with bank requirements.
•Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
•Reconcile actual to budget and process budget change orders.
•Prepare customized reports for individual projects as requested.General:
•Bank Reconciliations for various companies•Special projects as required
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years accounting experience in a construction environment. degree
