Classification: Full Time Compensation: $50000 to $60000 per year This is a growing financial services company located downtown The Financial Analyst will be responsible for corporate actions, pricing and various operational projects for the sub-advised and third-party mutual funds.•
•Description:
•Accountable for the processing of all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, such as exchanges, mergers, splits, rights distributions and reorganizations; communicating with colleagues the terms of the deal for all eligible accounts. Responsible for the event from assignment to payment; reconciling data provided by third-party sources with custodian bank•Prepare daily ex dividend accrual verification to ensure proper posting of income to the funds. Research and reconcile discrepancies as necessary
•Perform the necessary due diligence to ensure appropriate closing prices for the funds NAV; including challenging significant price movements and performing market value analysis to validate accurate prices•Maintain communication with custodian bank and sub-advisers to verify pricing of securities and corporate actions are processed correctly •Prepare and compile reports for monthly Pricing Committee and quarterly board review
•Perform several different daily operations, such as trade posting and custody reconciliation •Support the strategic goals of the department and company
