ViaSat produces innovative satellite and other wireless communication products that enable fast, secure, and efficient communications to any location. A key to the company’s growth and stability has been its flexibility in serving both commercial and military markets. Products include satellite networks and antenna systems, tactical datalink terminals (MIDS), HAIPIS-compliant secure IP networking, tactical mobile IP networking, and communication simulation and training systems.

Founded in 1986 by three former employees of Linkabit Corporation in San Diego, ViaSat is publicly traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the symbol VSAT.
