The Sr. Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing much of the initial program definition for the solutions/program. This analysis includes formulating solutions alternatives that will meet defined specifications, solution/program interdependencies, and analysis validating the solution meets the business requirements. The Sr. Solutions Analyst is also responsible for developing program proposals and business cases in support of the programs. Situational training and the co-ordination of solution training are also the Sr. Solutions Analyst responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
At least five to eight years of project methodology experience with increasing levels of leadership responsibility. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or comparable job-related experience is required. Proven ability to successfully work with business users and other IT departments. Effective leadership skills with the ability to lead in a team environment. Effective listening and communication skills. Ability to promote and build teamwork. Effective negotiation skills with the ability to perform contract reviews and negotiation. Ability to successfully deliver solutions to business problems. Knowledge of SDLC quality standards. Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task on several projects simultaneously and self manage activities. Adaptable to change. Effective problem solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve issues. Effective presentation skills with the ability to make presentations to diverse types of audiences. Information Technology acumen. Experience conducting vendor system evaluations for making build vs buy decisions. Ability to perform Project Manager type responsibilities for smaller projects. Ability to communicate technology solutions on a high level to non-technical busines people and foster a collaborative environment between IT and the business. Understanding of basic financial analysis, budgeting, and planning concepts. Ability to provide a high level of customer service and execute Program Management Office (PMO) activities.Preferred Qualifications:
