Sr. SAP Accountant

Responsibilities (Duties)

Assume ownership of analytical projects associated with preparing moderate to complex account reconciliations
Prepare and/or review worldwide fixed asset roll-forward
Prepare internal reports summarizing results of operations, both income statement and balance sheet
Perform SOX related review of documents and data to ensure compliance with internal policies and key controls
Perform general accounting functions related to consolidation of foreign entities and related eliminations
Actively participate in the analysis, journal entry preparation and summary of some of the revenue recognition issues
Assist in other areas of the Accounting department as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

BS degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance; CPA highly desirable but not required
Substantial SAP experience a MUST (e.g., account set up, management and report writing on version 4.6(b) or above, preferably Enterprise Edition.
2-5 years of Accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or publicly-held company
Strong analytical skills required to understand all accounting activity
Strong attention to detail to ensure all data are accounted for are true and accurate
Proficiency with Excel to manage and analyze large amounts of data
Public Accounting experience is desired but not required
