Sr. Revenue Accounting Manager

$135-140K + bonus

Major Responsibilities:
-Assume leadership role for existing functions that support revenue accounting process resulting in accurate and timely accounting for revenue in the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
-Provide leadership, development and application of consistent revenue recognition rules, and assist in documenting accounting guidance for Adobe's revenue generating activities on a global basis with specific reference to SOP 97-2 , SAB 104 and EITF 00-21
-Lead cross functional efforts and training with groups outside of corporate accounting, especially Sales Operations and Sales Finance, to insure all sources of revenue are properly reviewed for accounting purposes and processed on a timely basis
-Point of contact with external auditors during reviews and audits for revenue recognition and contract recognition related issues.

Requirements:
-BS Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
-Certified Public Accountant
-7 -10 years recent experience in similar role ideally with a $1B+ publicly held software company
-Prior experience with a software company required
-Management experience for multi-functional groups
